Band Room St. Austell – Rocked!

Thanks to everyone who turned out last night for our show at the Band Room. Another successful night for us and great to see so many new faces. An excellent venue with a good size stage and what a great sounding room – we’ll be back to St.Austell soon.

St.Austell Band Room Tonight!

If you’re up for some hard ‘n’ heavy blues rock get on over to the Band Room in St.Austell tonight!

Finns rocked yet again!

Thanks to everyone who turned out last night for an insanely rocking night at Finn Mcouls in Falmouth. The venue was bursting at the seams with both the band and audience on a mission from the get go……to kick some serious ass!  With dancing, singing and cheering from the first song to the last Finns proved once again why it’s one of Falmouth’s best venues for live music.

Next stop St.Austell for two nights over the bank holiday weekend. The first headlining the MM Guitar festival at the Brit and then onto a double header with our friends Hold The Sun.

Spread the word!

Party in the Park & Trill Fest Rocked!

We had two fantastic open air gigs last week at St.Columb with Party in the Park and at Par for Trill Fest. A lot of fun had at both with some great audiences.

Next up, a foray back into Falmouth as part of festival week and we play Finns Saturday 17th August. Don’t miss it!

Party in the Park, St.Columb August 8th

Make sure you come along to Party in the Park at St.Columb on August 8th and catch new BKBB bass player Joe Hoskin at his first show with the band. The Bare Knuckle Blues Band hit the stage at 5pm and this show marks the start of the band’s next round of gigs throughout Cornwall.

Introducing Joe Hoskin on bass!

Joe Hoskin

We are extremely excited to announce the addition of Joe Hoskin to the Bare Knuckle Blues Band on bass guitar.

Joe literally lives and breathes playing bass. Well known on the Cornish music scene for many years, he’s a very experienced musician and talented player who has quite literally kicked BKBB up another gear. You can catch Joe’s first show with the band at Party in the Park at St.Columb on August 8th.

First BKBB foray into Italy!

Buca di Baldabo – you rock!

Last night saw a fantastic solo performance by Tim Mills in Italy at the opening of the art festival in Vico Pancellorum as part of the art celebrations taking place throughout the area during the summer. With temperatures in the mid 30s Tim played a solo set of BKB favourites to an extremely enthusiastic audience made up not only of Italians but from right across Europe. Plans are now in place to take the whole band over into Europe next year and tour down through France, Italy and Germany.

Round 2 recordings now released for free download!

We’re pleased to announce the release of our Round 2 recording session. All 3 tracks were recorded with John Cornfield(Muse, Oasis, Plant) at his studio in Cornwall and show another side to the Bare Knuckle Blues Band; some punching rock, some sleazy r’n’r and a classic blues standard. Just hit the download the tracks tab on the left of the homepage – it’s completely free!

Lifeboat Inn

Just had to share this great photo from our show at the Lifeboat in St.Ives. What an excellent crowd – we can’t wait to get back and rock in St.Ives!
